Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) for the admission to UG and PG professional courses such as B.Tech, B.Pharma , B.Des , MBA , MCA etc. It is a state level entrance examination through which candidates can secure admission at private, unaided and government colleges across the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Yes, you can take admission in August because LPU usually keeps its admission process open till the later phases of the academic year, depending on seat availability. You simply need to apply online, appear for LPUNEST if required, and complete the counseling and fee payment steps. LPU also provides direct entry for many programs if you meet eligibility criteria or qualify through LPUNEST. For some courses, lateral entry options are also available.

LPU is best for B.Tech CSE, including lateral entry admissions. For direct second-year entry (lateral entry) in Computer Engineering at LPU, the fee generally remains similar to the regular B.Tech annual fee. The approximate fee is around ₹1.20 to ₹1.60 lakh per year, depending on the scholarship you receive through LPUNEST or category-based benefits. SC category students often get additional scholarship support, so your final fee may be lower after applying applicable concessions. It’s best to appear for LPUNEST to secure a higher scholarship and reduce the total cost.

Yes, LPU offers substantial scholarships to students excelling in sports, with fee waivers of up to 100% based on their achievements at International, National, or State levels. Applicants can avail these scholarships by submitting their sports achievement certificates during the online admission process. Alternatively, students without formal achievements can apply through LPUTABS (LPU Trial/Audition-Based Scholarship), which involves a physical trial conducted by the university’s sports department.
