CUET PG 2026 Application Fee Payment: Online Modes, Charges, and Troubleshooting Tips

CUET PG 2026 Application Fee Payment: Submitting the CUET PG 2026 application form is considered complete only after the application fee is paid and the confirmation page is generated. As the process is entirely online, the fee must be paid via digital payment methods such as UPI, net banking, credit card or debit card, as specified on the NTA portal. In recent admission cycles, many candidates have encountered issues such as pending transactions, double debits or missing receipts due to network or bank delays. You should therefore follow the payment instructions carefully, wait for the on‑screen confirmation and immediately download or print the confirmation page. If the confirmation page does not appear, your registration will remain incomplete. Updated guidelines, fee amounts for different categories and helpdesk details will be provided in the official CUET PG 2026 information bulletin, which you must check before and after making the payment to resolve any issues quickly.

CUET PG 2026 Application Fee Payment Important Points

The timing, process, and extra fees for the CUET PG application form are given below:

Particulars

Details

Timing for Fee Payment

Pay the fees within the CUET PG 2026 application window. It is generally from when the registration opens until the last date of the fee receipt. The deadline to apply, submit and pay the fee is January 20, 2026 (up to 23:50 IST).

What if you don’t pay by the Deadline?

  • Your form submission will remain incomplete.
  • You lose eligibility for that exam cycle.
  • You won’t get extended payment deadlines by NTA in an individual case.

Official Fee Payment Process

  • Register on the CUET PG portal.
  • Note your application number.
  • Log in with your credentials.
  • Complete the form details.
  • Go to the fee payment section.
  • Fill in all the compulsory fields.
  • Choose the payment mode you prefer.
  • Enter the card/bank/UPI details.
  • Confirm the amount.
  • Download the confirmation page after successful payment.
  • It is your proof of submission.
  • Don’t send hard copies of payment documents to NTA.

Convenience Fees & GST

Payment gateway charges, goods and services tax, and bank processing fees are not included in the application fee. Pay them extra while paying. The bank/ service providers set these charges.

Always Save the Confirmation Page

It is your only official proof that NTA has received and accepted your application. Your application will be seen as incomplete, you won’t get to download the admit card, and you might get excluded from attendance on the exam day without it. So, save it as a PDF on your device. You can also get a hard copy of it printed. A screenshot backup is an extra measure.

Importance of Correct Details Before Payment

The data entered during registration is final. It cannot be edited later outside the correction window. So, a mistake can cause mismatches later. You need to review personal details, category, and paper choices before fee payment. If you pay before correcting errors, the form may need a correction later (with possible additional charges if applicable).

FAQs

Can I retry payment if it fails midway?

Yes — but wait for the transaction status to be reflected. Retrying repeatedly can cause duplicate deductions. If needed, check with your bank before a second attempt.

Will NTA send me a payment receipt?

After successful payment, the portal generates a confirmation page. It’s the official receipt; you can download or save it. Email/SMS may not always be sent automatically.

Is there a separate charge for making corrections in the application form?

Generally, NTA does not charge for form correction unless you change the category to the benefited categories. The fee may differ based on such edits. Always check the portal during the correction window.

What if my application shows a pending payment after deduction?

Check your bank statement. If the amount is deducted but the status isn’t updated, wait 24-48 hours. If no auto update happens, contact the bank/payment gateway with transaction details for resolution.

Can I pay the CUET PG application fee in cash?

No. NTA accepts only online payments via card, net banking, UPI, or other online modes. Cash/challan options are not available.

What if the Date of Birth on Aadhaar Card is incorrect, and the DOB on Voter ID and birth certificate are matching to the marksheet, can the incorrect DOB on the Aadhar Card still create a problem during admission to the Master of Science (M.S.) programme at PMCH Patna?

Dear Student,

Your DOB will be verified by PMCH Patna primarily through Class 10 marksheet. The details on your Class 10 marksheet match your Voter ID and birth certificate, so even if there are discrepancies in Aadhaar, it typically does not lead to disqualification for M.S. At this institute, 10th standard certificate is taken into consideration for date of birth proof over Aadhaar. Birth certificate serves as a supporting document and Aadhaar is only one optional ID option alongside Voter ID/ Passport. However, you must update your DOB on Aadhaar separately via UIDAI after admission to avoid future hassles.
