GATE AR 2026: Exam Date, Syllabus, Question Paper, Answer Key, Response Sheet

GATE AR 2026: The GATE Architecture & Planning 2026 exam will be conducted by IIT Guwahati. The GATE AR exam 2026 date is yet to be announced by the authority. However, the exam is expected to be conducted in the month of February 2026. There will be a total of 3 sections in the exam, namely Part A, Part B1, and Part B2. A few days after the exam is concluded, the authority will release the question paper on its website, followed by the answer key and response sheet. The answer key & response sheet will play a prime role in the calculation of the estimated score of the GATE 2026 exam .

The GATE AR exam does not see many participants each year, and therefore, the exam does not have much competition, with a highest score of 75-85 varying each year. While an average of 10,000 registrations submitted for the GATE AR paper each year, only about 8000 students turn up to take the exam. Of these, merely 2800 students qualify the test, making it one of the hardest GATE papers to pass. GATE AR 2026 Question Paper

IIT Guwahati will release the GATE AR 2026 question paper officially after the conclusion of the exam. During the course of previous years, the difficulty level of the GATE AR exam has been moderate to difficult. The question paper includes a total of 2 sections and includes questions from GA and the core subject. In order to get a good grasp of the syllabus, you are recommended to practice the GATE previous year question papers on a regular basis. IIT Guwahati will be releasing the GATE AR 2026 answer key PDF after the exam is over. The GATE 2026 answer key is a helpful resource in getting an idea about the estimated exam marks. The authority will release the GATE AR provisional answer key, which will be available for objections. A few days after receiving the objections, IIT Guwahati will release the final key.
