GATE 2024 Computer Science and Information Technology answer key: The GATE 2024 answer key objection window was open from February 22 to 25, 2024. Steps to Challenge GATE CS Answer Key 2024

Candidates had the option to challenge the GATE CS answer key 2024 from February 22 to 25, 2024. Follow the steps to challenge GATE 2024 answer Key given below.

Step 1: Visit the official GOAPS website.

Step 2: Click the "Contest Answer Key" tab.

Step 3: Enter your enrollment ID and password.

Step 4: GATE answer keys will be displayed on the screen. Select the answer key link for your paper.

Step 5: Click on raising objection against the answer key link.

Step 6: Enter the question ID after checking the question number in the official answer key.

Step 7: Make an online payment of Rs 500 (per challenge). The cost for NRI applicants is US$10.

Step 8: After successful payment, applicants can input the question number they want to challenge.

Step 9: Candidates must present justification for the contest (a maximum of 500 characters).

Step 10: Before submitting the objection, attach all essential supporting papers.

How to Calculate Marks Using the GATE Computer Science and Information Technology Answer Key 2024

• Download the GATE 2024 answer key PDF and response sheet from the official portal.
• Check your answers with the correct responses mentioned in the GATE answer key 2024.
• Calculate your marks using the GATE marking scheme 2024.
• The final score you will get is your tentative GATE score.

The CS question paper will consist of two sections- The General Aptitude section of the CS question paper will have 10 questions, and the Subject Matter section will have 55 questions. For each incorrect attempt, the negative marking for 1-mark MCQ questions is 1/3; for 2-mark MCQ questions, it is 2/3; and for MSQs, there is no negative marking.
