Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) administers the Haryana Polytechnic admission process every year. After appearing for the Haryana Polytechnic exam, students will be able to get admission to diploma engineering courses in both government and private polytechnic colleges. The authorities commenced the online registration for Haryana Polytechnic Admissions 2023 on June 9. The last date to apply for Haryana Polytechnic has been extended to July 27, 2023 . One great thing about polytechnic courses is that it helps secure job for students and enhances their industry-specific skills. Many corporates go for students who have done diploma courses because they have the required skill set which they acquire in a very short span of time.

Haryana Polytechnic DET Application Process 2023

Candidates interested in applying for Haryana polytechnic admissions 2023 can go through the detailed admissions application process below:

  • Register online using your mobile number and user ID. Select the course you aspire to pursue, after which your new account will be created.
  • Fill in all the details carefully. Details include personal and professional details about you.
  • All the documents have to be uploaded on the website. Documents and their size is as follows:
    • Photograph: Upto 30KB in the JPG format
    • Signature: Upto 20 KB in JPG format
  • Pay the application fee of Rs. 500. For candidates having a certificate of either of these: BC/SC/HGST/KM/ESM/FF/PH - the fee is INR 200. Girl candidates also form part of this group.
  • Don't forget to take a printout of your completed form.

For Lateral Entry Admit Card:

  • Login using your credentials
  • You will see the admit card on the screen
  • Download the admit card and make sure you take a printout of the same.

Documents Required for Haryana Polytechnic Admissions 2023

Candidates need to bring the following documents for Haryana polytechnic admissions 2023:

  • Self-attested copy of 10th and 12th-grade documents
  • Admit Card of DET exam
  • Character certificates
  • Caste certificates, for example - SC/ST/OBC
  • Resident certificate
  • Certificate of employment, if any
  • Medical certificate
  • Parents’ annual income proof statement
  • Aadhaar card number
  • Coloured photographs
  • Proof that you have paid the counselling fee

It is to be noted that the payable admission fee for Girls is Rs. 3100 while for other candidates is Rs. 4600.

Haryana Polytechnic Counselling Process 2023

After the counselling, candidates must make sure to print the allotment letter from the official website of Haryana State Technical Education. They will be allotted a seat in an institute wherein they will be required to submit all their important documents such as certificates, testimonials and documents. Candidates must pay the fee and provide the institute with their photographs. After everything is verified, the candidate details will be updated on the official website. Candidates need to ensure that they report to the allotted institute before the last date.

Eligibility Criteria for Haryana Polytechnic Admissions 2023

Candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria for Haryana polytechnic admissions 2023:

  • Class 10th Certificate, minimum weightage being 35%
  • General category students must have Mathematics and Science as mandatory subjects
  • SC/ST or candidates with Kashmiri Migrant certificate must have a minimum of 33% marks
  • Candidates wanting to get admission with the Lateral Entry scheme must give the entrance exam of Haryana Diploma Entrance Exam (L)

Selection under Haryana Diploma (lateral) will depend upon the inter-se rank/merit list.

With 91.80%, you have an excellent chance of getting admission to your desired program at LPU. Your percentage is high enough to qualify for admission and even for scholarships through LPU NEST or based on your board marks.
