Important Instructions before Adding GATE Second Paper 2026
You must take note of the following before adding a second paper in GATE 2026.
You are only allowed to add a second paper during the GATE 2026 application form correction window. No further opportunities will be given for paper addition.
You must only choose the second paper from the valid list of GATE two-paper combinations listed by IIT Guwahati.
Additional charges as mentioned above will be applicable for adding a second paper in GATE 2026.
The exam centre for the GATE second paper may not be the same as allotted for the first paper. So, you will need to make travel arrangements accordingly.
