Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) was established in 2000 and is one of the largest and most prominent technical universities in India. It was previously known as the UP Technical University (UPTU) and has collaborated with IIT Kanpur, REPL, UPSIFS, and many more for strengthening academic and industrial relationships.

AKTU courses are offered at the UG, PG, M.Phil, and PhD levels in 20+ courses across 200+ streams. The programmes are offered in a variety of fields such as engineering, architecture, pharmacy, fashion, animation, design, computer application, information technology, science, etc. Admission to these courses at AKTU Lucknow is granted on the basis of the candidate’s previous academic merit and entrance test scores. The exams accepted are JEE Main, CUET UG, CUET PG, NATA, GATE, CMAT, etc. The AKTU Lucknow application process for admission is provided below:

AKTU Admission Process

The AKTU admission procedure is entirely online, with the exception of the dedicated entrance tests. CUET handles admissions for UG and PG programmes, as well as lateral entry courses. Students can apply by following the instructions below:

Visit the official website of CUET (cuet.samarth.ac.in).
Select the Application link for the desired course.
Register by providing information such as your name, email address, and phone number.
Create a password for future logins throughout the registration process, and then click the 'Submit' button.
After successfully enrolling, you will receive a registration number via email and cell phone.
Complete the application form, including your password and registration number.
Upload scanned photographs of your signature and photos.
Use a debit card, credit card, or net banking to pay the application fee.
Following payment, you will receive an email and a text message to your email and cell phone confirming the successful payment.

AKTU Admission Highlights - CUET UG

Candidates can register for CUET-UG counselling by applying online at (uptac.admissions.nic.in).
The registration fee for AKTU CUET UG counselling is Rs 1,000.
Candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent examination or who will be appearing in 2023 can sit for the CUET (PG) 2023 test.
Reservation criteria for CUET 2023: Gen- EWS (10%), OBC NCL (27%), ST (7.5%), SC (15%), and PwBD (5%).
It is a computer-based test (CBT) that is administered online.

Students who took the CUET UG 2023 entrance exam are eligible for AKTU Lucknow admissions. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution in Uttar Pradesh or whose parents are domiciled in Uttar Pradesh are also eligible for the counselling round, according to the eligibility restrictions outlined by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow.

For admission to B.A. Psychology at LPU, the basic requirement is that you must have passed 12th in any stream, and PCB is perfectly acceptable. The typical minimum percentage needed is around 60% in your 10+2, although students with slightly lower scores may still be considered depending on the admission cycle. LPU may also conduct LPUNEST, which can help you qualify for admission as well as scholarships, but for many arts programs, merit-based admission is common. So, if you score around 60% or above in 12th, you are eligible to apply for B.A. Psychology at LPU.
