The Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) 2026, which has replaced AIIMS PG, JIPMER PG, PGIMER, and NIMHANS Exams for the admission of various PG medical courses such as MD, M.Ch., DM, MDS, and MS. Students must follow the INI CET 2025 Examination Guidelines to go forward with the INI CET 2026 entrance exam. INI CET 2026 Exam for the January session is being conducted by AIIMS New Delhi on November 09, 2025 from 9 AM to 12 Noon.

One of the most important aspects of exam-day preparation is document verification and identity proof. INI CET participants are required to download their admit cards which will be available a week prior to the exam date. On the admit card, there are a few very important instructions listed and applicants should also read them. The rest of the relevant instructions for the INI CET exam day are as discussed below.
INI CET 2026 Reporting Time and Entry Guidelines

Candidates must reach their allotted examination centre mentioned on their respective admit cards at least 90 minutes before the reporting time.
The exam center's entrance closes thirty minutes prior to the start of the test. Arriving late will not be accepted in any situation.
Candidates have to undergo frisking, biometric verification, and security checks upon arrival. Therefore, in order to prevent last-minute delays, it is advisable to organize your travel to the exam centre accordingly.
The admit card will prominently display the precise reporting time, gate closing time, and shift timing; therefore pay close attention to these details.
INI CET Dress Code 2026
AIIMS has asked students to dress according to the season:
Easy dresses with almost no pockets and big buttons.
Any dress with big buttons is not approved.
Inside the hall accessories like goggles, coats, caps, scarves, belts, wristbands, etc are not allowed. Students should not wear any of these on the exam day, because if the applicant wishes to remove them, there will be no facility to keep objects safely at the entrance gate.
High-heeled shoes with dense soles are strictly forbidden. It is strongly recommended to have flat shoes or open slippers.
- Students who wear a specific attire because of religious beliefs are directed to report early in the centre, to hand over those specific things to management. Otherwise, they won't be able to take the exam.

INI CET Admit Card 2026
The most important document that you need to carry for the INI CET Exam is the admit card. The admit card will carry all your information such as Name, location venue, timing
Carry an original printout of the admit card with IP address, date and time of printing on the 1st line, at the top.
Photocopies or dull printouts of admit cards are not considered valid.
Any incorrect data on admit card may cancel the candidature of the candidate.
Students must read and sign the declaration with place and date.
Documents Required for INI CET 2026
On the day of the examination, all students must carry a list of documents required for INI CET 2026. The following documents are required to be produced at the Exam centre for document verification. In case students fails to produce either of these, they will not be allowed to enter the exam centre and appear for the INI CET 2026 Exam. Wristwatches, clocks, Ornaments, Wrist bands, Goggles, Headgears, Scarfs, Jackets, etc.

Important Guidelines for INI CET 2026
All students are demanded to arrive early at the exam centre on time.
Students from PWD or such category who dress according to religious values should reach the examination centre early.
Students should follow all guidelines related to COVID-19
At the exam hall, a spare paper is not allowed, but Students may use the back of the admit card to do rough work.
To mark the attendance, the admit card must be submitted to the invigilator.
Do not use the keyboard in INI CET exam.

According to their roll numbers shown on the computer screen, candidates must take their designated seats.
Online CBT (Computer-Based Test) modality will be used for the exam.
Candidates must finish a brief pre-exam session to learn how to navigate and mark questions before the test starts.
If necessary, rough work should be completed on the scratch paper that is available at the center.
Candidates are not allowed to leave the room before the exam is over.
Any improper conduct, interaction, or effort at cheating will result in the candidature being immediately canceled.
