ISC Class 12 Political Science Weightage 2026 is now released online. There are a total of 2 parts included in the curriculum, with 80 marks provided for the theory paper. 20 marks are allotted for the internal assessment. Check more details here. 
ISC Class 12 Political Science Weightage 2026

ISC Class 12 Poitical Science Weightage 2026 : ISC Class 12 Political Science Exam 2026 will be conducted for a total of 100 marks, out of which 80 marks are given to the theory paper and 20 marks for project work. The theory paper is divided into two parts, where Part I consists of short-answer type questions of 60 marks, while Part II is further divided into Section A, where you have to answer 3 out of 5 questions and Section B, where you have to answer 2 out of 3 questions, with each question in Part II being worth 12 marks. ISC Class 12 Political Science Topic-Wise Weightage 2026

ISC board does not allocate specific marks to individual chapters. You can check the approximate weightage of topics from the table below.

ISC Class 12 Political Science Project Work Weightage 2026

Candidates will be required to undertake one project, which may be any one of the following:
(i) A case study.
(ii) Survey study with a questionnaire.
(iii) Research-based project with in-depth analysis.
(iv) Local/national/global political issue.
(v) Book reviews, film reviews, documentaries/posters/newspapers/advertisements/cartoons reviews and art.

Assessment of Project Work will be done as follows:
