JEE Main January Shift 1 vs Shift 2 Analysis

The Day 1 JEE Main January 2020 exam was successfully held on January 06, 2020, and most of the candidates were satisfied with the new exam pattern of JEE Main 2020 and the question paper. The shift 1 and shift 2 of JEE Main 2020 on Day 1 witnessed tougher questions in Mathematics, and the candidates faced some difficulty in answering the questions. The coverage of Mathematics syllabus of Class 11 th and 12 th was deep in the question paper of Day 1. The difficulty level of the question paper was average or moderate.

Most of the questions are from Class 12 th Syllabus

The Mathematics subject had most of the questions from Class 11 th Syllabus

The Drawing Section was difficult

The difficulty level of the Aptitude section was moderate

These are the topics that were given in the Drawing section. In B.Plan, there was a question on the Architect of the LIC Building.

  • Draw a Gymnast doing exercise,
  • Make the face of a grandparent
  • Make a scene of a playground.

These are the topics that were given in the Drawing section

The B.Planning section had question-related to Minister and Government

The Chemistry section was easy

The Chemistry section was easy

Physic turned out to be moderate in terms of difficulty

Physics turned out to be difficult to moderate

There were not many advanced level questions in the exam.

No advanced level questions have been asked in both the shifts.

Candidates appearing for the other shifts of JEE Main January 2020 can expect tougher questions from Mathematics. However, last-minute revision of the Class 11 th syllabus can is the better suggestion in order to excel in Mathematics section.
