Day 4 shift 2 of the JEE Mains January 2026 exam session was being conducted from 3-6 PM today. Like previous days, the exam is being held for Paper 1, i.e. BE/B.Tech stream. As the exam is conducted, JEE Mains question paper 24 January 2026 Shift 2 has been released unofficially to update students about the subject-wise difficulty level, topics asked, and question distribution across Physics, Chemistry and Math sections. Keeping up with NTA trends, the shift 2 paper was moderately challenging with Physics being conceptually heavy, Chemistry balanced, and Mathematics rather time-consuming. All three sections will have 25 questions each, further divided into 20 MCQs + 5 NVQs. Students gearing up for the JEE Main Jan 24 exam shift 2 should focus on numerical and conceptual questions and avoid guesswork to not lose valuable marks in the test.
