GFTI colleges are government-funded technical institutions and are the premier higher educational institutes. GFTIs comprise Universities, Engineering and Architecture colleges which are funded by the Government of India.
The GFTI Fee structure varies from institute to institute. The average fee structure in the GFTIs ranges from Rs 30,000 - INR 2,50,000. The fees of GFTIs are usually lower than that of the IITs & NITs since the GFTIs are state-run institutes.
With an 85 percentile in the JEE Mains 2025 exam, candidates have a good chance of getting admission into several reputable colleges for engineering. Some of the colleges to consider for 85 percentile in the JEE Main 2025 exam are the NITs and GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).
