BFA CUET Eligibility Criteria & Subjects Combinations

To be qualified for a BFA through CUET, you should normally meet the following criteria:

  • You must have completed Class 12 under a recognised board.
  • You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
  • The General category requires a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Class 12, whereas the Reserved category requires 45%.

Note: Candidates are required to take both the practical-based test and the CUET.

Candidates in the following subject combinations are required to show up for CUET:

  • Any one of the List A languages plus the General Test (Section III) and the Practical-Based Test (to be administered by the College of Art)
  • The basis for art history specialisation will be Analysis/Premise and View/Critique.
  • Drawing and relevant specialisation will be the basis for the remaining five specialisations (weighting will be 50: 50).
  • Merit will be determined by taking into account both the practical-based test score (50%) and the CUET score (50%).
