List of Documents Required to Fill KTET April 2024 Application Form: Certificates to Refer, Image Uploading Specifications

KTET 2024 Application Form Documents Required

Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan undertakes the Kerala TET Examination every year for the employment of teaching staff in government schools in Kerala. The Kerala TET test is used to fill teacher posts of Category I, Category II, Category III, and Category IV in Kerala.

Aspirants who want to take the KTET Exam 2024 must have filled out the application form online. The candidate's name, date of birth, educational qualification, and other key information must be accurately presented. The KTET Application Form 2024 is accessible from April 17 to 26, 2024, on the official website. Before applying, candidates should carefully read all of the instructions provided on the official website. Candidates should also keep a printout of their KTET Application Form after their successful registration for future reference.

Important: Applicants applying for more than one category need only to submit only one application. Separate applications will not be entertained for each category exam from an applicant.

KTET 2024: Certificates to Refer

Following are the list of documents the applicants need to refer to while filling out the KTET 2024 Application Form:

  1. Minimum Qualification Certificates

The list of minimum qualifications as per KTET categories is tabulated below:

  • Higher Secondary/Senior secondary (at least 45%) and TTC/D.Ed. / D El Ed
  • Higher/Senior Secondary(at least 45%) and Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Higher/Senior Secondary(at least 50%) and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education
  • Higher/Senior Secondary(at least 50%) and 2 year Diploma in Education (Spl Edn) Doing Final Year DEd / D.El.Ed
  • B.Tech Graduate
  • Other Equivalent Qualification SSLC/TTC Qualified Before Year 2012

Category II (For UP Section)

  • Graduation and TTC/D.Ed. / D.El.Ed
  • Graduation (at least 45%) and B.Ed.
  • Higher/Senior Secondary (at least 50%) and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education
  • Higher/Senior Secondary (at least 50 %) and B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed.
  • Doing Final Year B.Ed. / D.Ed./D.El.Ed
  • B.Tech Graduate
  • Other Equivalent Qualification

Category III (For HS Section)

  • Graduation (at least 45%) and B.Ed.
  • M.Sc. Ed (at least 50%)
  • BA (at least 45%) and LTTC
  • Doing Final Year B.Ed.
  • Qualified B.Ed. based on Mark in Post-Graduation
  • Doing B.Ed. based on marks in post-graduation
  • Other Equivalent Qualification
  1. SSLC Certificate

If Kerela SSLC Certificate is not available, then the following equivalents can be used instead:
-    SSLC
-    THSLC
-    ICSE
-    CBSE
-    OTHERS

  1. Differently Abled Certificate (if applicable)
  2. Certificate in Teaching (if applicable)
  3. Aadhar Card

KTET 2024: Image Uploading Specifications

For KTET 2024 Application, candidates only need to upload their photographs by strictly adhering to the following guidelines as given by the conducting authority.

Other Specifications:

  • The candidate’s name and the date the photo was taken must be printed at the bottom of the photograph.
  • The candidate's ears must be visible and he or she must not be wearing a cap or goggles. Preferably, a white background should be maintained in the candidate's photograph.
