MAH MBA CET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

MAH MBA CET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, once a year to provide admission into MBA/MMS courses. If you are set to take the exam, you must refer to the following MAH MBA CET 2026 exam day guidelines to avoid any last-minute hassle.

1. Do Not Forget Your Admit Card

The admit card is one of the crucial documents for any exam. Thus, you must carry your MAH MBA CET 2026 admit card while going for the exam. Taking a printout of the admit card 2-3 days before the exam is a good idea to avoid any trouble at the last moment. No one will be allowed to enter the exam centre without the MAH MBA CET admit card. Also, no soft copies will be allowed inside the exam hall.

2. Be on Time

You are advised to reach the exam centre on time for a smooth entry to the exam hall and begin the test without any stress. Those who are late will not be permitted to sit in the exam. You can check the exam timings as well as the exam centre allotted to them from the admit card.

3. Adhere to the Invigilator’s Instructions

It is important to listen carefully to the instructions provided by the Invigilator. Not listening to the instructions provided by the Invigilator can lead to confusion and you may miss out on something important. In case you face any issues related to logging in, finding an allotted seat, or others during the exam, you should immediately bring it to the notice of your invigilator.

4. Manage Your Time Wisely

You should note that the total duration of the MAH MBA CET 2026 exam is 150 minutes and no extra time will be allotted to any candidate. Thus, it is advised to manage your time wisely so that you get enough time for all the sections of the exam. Solving mock tests and samples and previous years’ question papers is a great way to understand how to manage time during the MAH MBA CET 2026 exam.

5. Read the Instructions Provided on the Admit Card

You are advised to read the instructions provided on the MAH MBA CET 2026 admit card. Important details regarding your exam centre, reporting time, exam time, and others are given in the admit card. 6. Do Not Cheat on the Exam

You are advised not to cheat in the exam. You should only focus on your own screen. If you are caught peeping into other students’ screens, the invigilator may take serious action that will ruin your exam. So, it's better to stay focused on your screen.

7. Be Confident

Confidence is the key to winning any battle. Every student taking the exam must feel confident while answering the questions in the MAH MBA CET 2026 exam. You should answer the questions in which you are confident and skip the questions that you are not sure about. You can attempt those questions after answering the rest of the questions.

8. Have a Photo ID Proof

You should carry your ID Proof along with the admit card while going for the exam. You can carry either an Aadhaar card/ Voter Card/ Driving License or PAN Card. Those who are not carrying ID proof will not be permitted to enter the exam hall.

9. Use Sheets for Rough Work and Calculations

If you are appearing for the MAH MBA CET 2026 exam, you have to do the rough work on the sheets provided to you. You should not write anything on the admit card and the ID card. You should note that you will have to return the rough sheets to the Invigilator once the exam is over.

10. Check the Seating Arrangement

Once you reach the examination centre, the very first thing you must do is check your seating arrangement. Details of the seating arrangement will be mentioned either on the notice board or inside the exam centre. You are advised to sit only on the seats allotted to you.
