The eligibility criteria for Maharashtra Direct Second Year Diploma admission provide detailed conditions for both regular students and working professionals. For Working Professionals:

  • Along with the above-mentioned Eligibility Criteria, you must be a working professional in a Registered Industry/Organization (Central/State)/Private,/Public Limited Company/ MSMEs located within a 50 KM radial distance from the Institute.
  • You should have a Minimum of ONE Year full-time/ Regular working Experience.

Maharashtra DSD Admission 2025: Step by Step Process

Maharashtra DSD admission 2025 process includes multiple steps such as online registration, document verification, release of provisional merit list, grievances redressal, release of final merit list, and the institute-level admission process. In this section, we have provided the detailed Maharashtra direct second-year diploma admission process in detail:

  1. Online Registration: The first step in the Maharashtra Direct Second Year Diploma admission is to register for the online admission process. The DTE Maharashtra started the registration for the DSD 2025 admission process on June 20, 2025. The DSD registration 2025 last date is July 2, 2025. The online registration process will require you to submit details such as name, email address, academic qualification, domicile details, etc. You will also be required to pay an application fee of INR 400 for the General Category, and INR 300 for Reserved category students. You can submit the online application form fee using various channels such as Credit Card/Debit Card/ UPI/ Net Banking.
  2. Document Verification: Following the online registration process, you will be required to verify all the required documents for the Maharashtra DSD admission process. You can perform the document verification process either with the e-scrutiny method or with the physical scrutiny method. During this round, you will be required to verify your domicile and academic certificates.
  3. Release of Merit List: Based on the details filled during the registration process, the DTE Maharashtra will release the DSD merit list 2025. The merit list will include the names of the students shortlisted for admission to participating colleges.
  4. Institute Admission Process: Once a college is allotted, you will be required to report to the college and initiate the admission process. You will also be required to verify documents and pay the college fee.

Document Verification for Maharashtra DSD Admission 2025

Following the completion of the Maharashtra Direct Second Year Diploma online registration, you will be required to complete the Document verification. DTE Maharashtra provides two methods of document verification, e-Scrutiny Mode and Physical Scrutiny Mode. The dates to commence the document verification process were June 20 to July 2, 2025. We have explained both the document verification methods below:

  1. e-Scrutiny Method: Following the online registration process, you can directly participate in the document verification process online using a computer/smartphone connected to the internet. With the e-Scrutiny method, you are not required to visit personally for verification and confirmation of the application form. Your application & documents will be verified and confirmed by the designated Facilitation Center through e-Scrutiny Mode.
  2. Physical Scrutiny Method: Students who do not have a computer/smartphone to participate via the e-Scrutiny method can physically attend the document verification process. The registered students can book a slot at the facilitation centre. You will need to fill online application form, scan & upload the required documents by yourself, free of cost, at the facilitation centre.

Maharashtra DSD Admission 2025 Merit List

The Maharashtra DSD final merit list has been released in a PDF format on the official website of DTE Maharashtra. After the completion of the document verification process for Maharashtra Direct Second Year Diploma admission 2025. The DTE Maharashtra released the provisional merit list on July 7, 2025. The merit list will feature the names of the shortlisted students along with their ranks.
