Eligibility Criteria for Mechanical Engineering:

Diploma Programmes	A minimum of 50% marks are required to apply for a diploma course in mechanical engineering. Aspirants also have to qualify the diploma course entrance exam of the state or university where they seek admissions.
Undergraduate Programmes	B.Tech or BE Mechanical Engg aspirants will have to secure at least 60% marks in class 12 board exams. Candidates must have physics mathematics and chemistry as compulsory subjects in class 12 curriculum. Admissions are done on the basis of engineering entrance test scores accepted by the respective institutes or universities.

Dear Student,

If you mistakenly uploaded a wrong document (like a voter ID with the incorrect birth date) during the JEE Main application correction window and now need to upload the correct document showing your accurate date of birth, you should immediately log in to your JEE Main candidate portal using your application number and password during the open correction period. Go to the ‘Application Form Correction’ section where you initially uploaded the documents.
