  • B.Tech or BE Mechanical Engg aspirants will have to secure at least 60% marks in class 12 board exams.
  • Candidates must have physics mathematics and chemistry as compulsory subjects in class 12 curriculum.

Postgraduate Programmes

  • Candidates who have secured a minimum 50% in their BE or B.Tech Mechanical Engineering courses can apply for M.Tech or ME programmes.
  • Selection is done on the basis of GATE scores and Personal Interviews conducted by respective institutes.

Doctoral Programmes

  • Candidates must have minimum 60% marks in B.Tech or BE along with 60% marks in M.Tech or ME.
  • Admissions are done on the basis of CSIR, ICMR, UGC NET , ICAR and DST INSPIRE fellowship.

Dear Student, 

If you mistakenly uploaded a wrong document (like a voter ID with the incorrect birth date) during the JEE Main application correction window and now need to upload the correct document showing your accurate date of birth, you should immediately log in to your JEE Main candidate portal using your application number and password during the open correction period. Go to the ‘Application Form Correction’ section where you initially uploaded the documents. There, you can delete or replace the previously uploaded document with the correct one by following the on-screen instructions to re-upload the accurate birth date proof. …
