Eligibility Criteria For MBBS in Armed Forces Medical College

  • Indian Citizenship : Candidates must be citizens of India to be eligible for the MBBS course from this college. Foreign Nationals of Indian origin are eligible for admission only if they have citizenship of India or a certificate of eligibility by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
  • Age Criteria : The applicant should be 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year but should not have attained the age of 24 years on that date.
  • Marriage : Students must be unmarried, they cannot marry during the course duration.
  • Medical Fitness : They must fulfil the medical fitness criteria as prescribed by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Defense.
  • Educational Qualification : Students must have passed all subjects of the qualifying exam as a regular student. They must not have secured less than 60% aggregate in three science subjects studied together, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Also, their marks in each science subject and English must be 50% or more. Students should have passed their Maths subject in class 10th to be eligible.
