IIIT Kottayam Placements 2025 - Average & Highest Package, Percentage

IIIT Kottayam placements 2025 were quite impressive for all courses. The highest package reached INR 50 LPA, while the median package stood at INR 10 LPA. Over 120 recruiters made over 219 offers across roles like software development, consulting, embedded systems, etc. The IIIT Kottayam highest package was secured through a pre-placement offer (PPO), while 178 students received job offers.

IIIT Kottayam training and placement cell organises training sessions to prepare students for placement, usually from the 6th semester. The training includes aptitude and logical reasoning practice, coding and technical skill enhancement, core subject revision, and regular mock tests. Alongside, soft-skill development such as communication skills, resume writing, group discussions, mock interviews, and pre-placement talks are also covered in these sessions.

IIIT Kottayam placement rate in 2025 was 88%, placing 178 students out of 202 eligible students. From the 2024 placement drive, it was a 25% jump. Before this improvement, the placement rate declined from 82% in 2022 to 73% in 2023 and dropped further to 63% in 2024

IIIT Kottayam placement since 2021 has been impressive. Whether it’s the average package or the number of students placed, the number has been increasing. From INR 9.07 LPA in 2021, the average package shifted to INR 14.32 LPA in 2023, while taking a dip in the following years. The same has been followed in the highest package trend.
