Good college with supportive faculty and decent facilities

Overall: My experience at this college has been overall positive. The faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable, especially in core subjects. The curriculum is updated as per university norms and helps in building a strong technical foundation. Internal assessments and exams are conducted regularly, which keeps students academically active. The campus environment is disciplined and student-friendly. Various technical and cultural events are organized, encouraging overall personality development. While there is scope for improvement in placements and industry exposure, the college provides a good learning atmosphere for students who are willing to work hard.

Placement: I am currently studying at Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology in the Robotics and Automation Engineering department. The college has a calm environment for learning, and most of the faculty members are supportive and helpful. Labs and classrooms are decent, and students are encouraged to improve their technical skills through self-learning and internships. I recently joined Meera Laser Solutions as an intern, where I am learning about laser technology, robotics, and automation systems. My college studies helped me understand the basics required for this internship. If students make use of the opportunities and work on skill development, the college can be a good place to start an engineering career.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is decent with well-maintained classrooms, laboratories, and library facilities. Labs are adequately equipped for practical learning. The campus is clean and provides a comfortable environment for students.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are experienced and explain concepts clearly. They are supportive during exams and projects and encourage students to improve their skills.

Hostel: The hostel provides a safe and comfortable living environment for students. Rooms are adequately spacious and well-ventilated. Cleanliness is maintained regularly, and drinking water facilities are available. The hostel has a disciplined atmosphere with proper security. Food quality in the mess is average but hygienic, and the menu is manageable. Wardens are supportive and approachable when needed. Overall, the hostel is suitable for students focusing on their studies, though minor improvements in food variety and internet connectivity would make it better.
