AP RCET 2024-25: The schedule of the interview for AP RCET 2024–25 is out now, and it is considered the second important step for admission to research programs offered in the state. AP RCET is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, which offers admission to PhD and research courses provided by different state universities of Andhra Pradesh.

Interviews for AP RCET 2024–25 shall be held from February 2, 2026, onwards to February 6, 2026 , according to the official notification. Candidates shortlisted for interviews after qualifying in the written exam need to attend this, as the interview round holds much significance in the final selection of candidates. All candidates shortlisted must attend this interview, failing which their candidature not be considered for admission.

AP RCET is a crucial entrance for candidates applying to doctoral courses in streams like science, engineering, arts, social sciences, commerce, and management. The written test for the AP RCET entrance exam of 2024-25 has already been carried out, and this interview process is intended to test the abilities of candidates for doctoral work.

As per the guidelines of APSCHE, candidates must appear at the time and place as indicated in the schedule of interviews. During this time, candidates are expected to introduce themselves and their areas of research interest, and in certain cases, introduce their research proposal as well. The candidates are likely to be tested for conceptual clarity and aptness in their area of choice.

Candidates will be required to carry their certificates in original, including educational qualification certificates, AP RCET hall ticket and rank card, category certificates, if any, and other certification(s), if specified in the notification, for verification purposes. Final admission shall be determined through a consolidated evaluation of the performances in the written test and interview marks in accordance with the rules of admission.
