Arunachal Pradesh CM assures 100% Scholarship for Admission to IITs: The Chief Minister, Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh, announced to offer 100% scholarships for APST youths gaining admission to any undergraduate courses in IITs. Khandu made this announcement during the opening ceremony of the annual college week celebration of Dera Natung Government College, last Sunday. As per the statement, the CM of Arunachal Pradesh has added that the APST youth securing admission in undergraduate and postgraduate courses at top 150 global universities (as per the QS ranking) will be completely free of cost. Also, the CM will provide a 75% scholarship to obtain a commercial pilot licence for up to 10 aspiring youths every year. Along with it, every year, 10 youths will get support for obtaining certification and training programs for merchant navy courses.

The CM of Arunachal Pradesh has already done some flagship initiatives like the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana, AP Entrepreneurship Development Program, Atmanirbhar Arunachal, Paryatan Vikas Yojana, Vidya Scheme, Talent Hunt, and Youth Engagement Programs. All of these programs are also aligned with the skill, confidence, and opportunity development program of the youth. So that the state can experience good growth in the future.

Apart from that, the CM mentioned that they have already adopted the State Youth Policy 2025 in August, which is shaped for achieving nine youth-development goals. It includes employment, quality education, skills, entrepreneurship, sports, civic engagement, culture, so that the Youth of the State can shine in their future.

Pema Khandu also declared that several infrastructure projects are in progress, which include a new administrative block, a 100-bedded girls’ hostel, a 300-bedded boys’ hostel, a judo-karate hall, a prefabricated badminton court, and a Siddharth community hall with a seating capacity of 1200 persons. After completing the above-highlighted facilities, these programs will enhance the academic environment of the colleges and the overall learning experience of the students.
