To participate, candidates are invited to visit the official website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in , where they can undertake the mock test across various papers. The mock test encompasses 38 papers, and candidates can log in using their unique username and password to participate. Steps to Access GATE 2026 Mock Test

Candidates can check out the steps to access GATE 2026 Mock Test below:

Step 1 : Go to gate2026.iitg.ac.in and click on the mock test link running on the page against notifications. A new page will open displaying all the mock test links for all papers.

Step 2 : Click on "Click here" beside the paper you want to appear for the mock examination. A new page will open where you'll see a sign-in option.

Step 3 : Click on sign-in, and use the default login and password provided by the system. Check the details like the candidate's name and subject to understand the exam interface.

Step 4 : After signing in, read the instructions for the mock test carefully and click on "Next".

Step 5 : Familiarise yourself with the exam pattern, tick the "I have read and understood the instructions" box, and click "I am ready to begin the mock test".

Step 6 : Answer the questions, choose the correct option, and use the options to clear responses, mark for review, or save and move to the next question.

Step 7 : Complete the paper and click on "Submit" to end the mock test.
