Step 1 : Go to gate2026.iitg.ac.in and click on the mock test link running on the page against notifications. A new page will open displaying all the mock test links for all papers.
Step 2 : Click on "Click here" beside the paper you want to appear for the mock examination. A new page will open where you'll see a sign-in option.
Step 3 : Click on sign-in, and use the default login and password provided by the system. Check the details like the candidate's name and subject to understand the exam interface.
Step 4 : After signing in, read the instructions for the mock test carefully and click on "Next".
Step 5 : Familiarise yourself with the exam pattern, tick the "I have read and understood the instructions" box, and click "I am ready to begin the mock test".
Step 6 : Answer the questions, choose the correct option, and use the options to clear responses, mark for review, or save and move to the next question.
Step 7 : Complete the paper and click on "Submit" to end the mock test.
