Candidates should note that ICAR Counselling 2025 is most likely to begin anytime soon. The registration process will be open, followed by choice filling, and seat allotment.

ICAR Counselling 2025: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), is most likely to begin with ICAR Counselling 2025 anytime soon. Candidates who have registered will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Only the eligible candidates srae advsied to participate in the counselling process to secure admissions for various UG courses in Agriculture. As per the counselling pattern, registered candidates will have to submit web options for the seat allotment processing, and report to the allotted institute to confirm their seats. The detailed counselling process, seat availability and other details are provided here.

According to the latest update, the online application process for UG counseling 2025 will be launched by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) on Monday, October 6. However, completion of the integration of the bank payment gateway is a prerequisite for the process. If there is any more delay, it will begin the following day, October 7, Dr. Joykrushna Jena, Director General (Education), ICAR, informed the media.

Here are some counselling instructions that will help the candidates to participate in the counselling process smoothly:

Students must go to icaradmission.in , the Indian Council of Agricultural Research's official website, to apply for the ICAR counselling procedure for undergraduate courses.
The registration link for ICAR UG 2025 counselling is prominently displayed on the homepage. Clicking on the ICAR counselling form will cause it to open on your screen.
Complete the required fields, including academic and personal information. Before submitting, preview the form and upload the necessary files.
You can click submit after making the last necessary changes to your ICAR counselling application form.
Your dashboard will display a payment gateway. A payment of INR 500 must be made online using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI to successfully register for the ICAR UG counselling rounds.
You will receive your login credentials via SMS or your registered email address after paying the ICAR counselling fees.
To access the ICAR counselling platform on the ICAR official portal, save and utilise these login credentials.

Payment of the Seat Acceptance Fee: Students must pay Rs 10,000 to confirm their admission after reporting to the designated college. Students could occasionally have to pay the whole first-year tuition. ICAR Admission 2025 will be verified upon successful payment of the fee.

ICAR Counselling 2025: Instructions for Seat Allotment Process (2/2)
Students can select float, slide, or freeze choices during the ICAR seat allocation procedure under the following circumstances:
- If students would like to investigate better possibilities and are not quite pleased with the present allocation, they can select the "float" option.
- If students are happy with the college but would like to take another course there, they can select the "slide" option.
- If a student is happy with their course and college and wants to finalise their acceptance, they can select the "freeze" option, which will remove their ability to participate in the following rounds.

ICAR Counselling 2025: Instructions for Seat Allotment Process (1/2)
- Based on the students' CUET UG exam scores, ICAR officials will publish a merit list. The method of allocating seats will be based on this merit list/rank list.
- For the CUET UG exam, specific seats are set aside for various categories. Based on the proportion of seats set aside for them, a distinct merit list is created for the SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD categories. Based on this merit list, the authorities will thereafter assign seats to these reserved groups.
- Following each session of ICAR counselling, the authorities will create the seat distribution lists based on the options and priorities that the students have chosen.

The ICAR is expected to begin with the registration process from October 6, 2025, for the eligible candidates through its official website. However, the confirmed date is yet to be announced by the authorities for ICAR Counselling 2025.
