ICAR Mop-Up Round Counselling 2025 Important InstructionsICAR Mop-Up Round Counselling 2025 Instructions: The ICAR UG Mop-Up Round Counselling 2025 is the last chance round that enables students to get admission in agriculture universities (AUs) and other allied science streams through the ICAR UG entrance exam. This round is held to fill the vacant seats in participating universities after completing three rounds of counselling. Mop-up round is very important for the candidates who missed attending the previous rounds, were not allotted seats or want to take admission from the available seats in the mop-up round.
The Mop-Up round counselling will start from November 14, 2025 , on its official website, icarcounseling.com. Candidates who did not register in the first round can now do so by paying Rs. 500 , while those who registered earlier but did not fill in choices, upload documents, or pay fees can participate without paying once again. But, fresh choices are mandatory for all the aspirants from the list of available seat matrix of vacant seats, as the old preferences will be deleted automatically. ICAR has also made it clear that the council will not be held responsible in case any university denies admission on account of derecognition. Important Instructions for ICAR Mop-Up Round 2025
Candidates must carefully follow these rules during the Mop-Up/Final Round of ICAR UG Counselling 2025:

Candidates with zero or negative marks in CUET (ICAR-UG) 2025 are not eligible.

No seat upgradation will be allowed in the mop-up/final round.

Withdrawal or cancellation of seats will not be permitted.

Seat acceptance fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Candidates admitted, withdrawn, or denied earlier are not eligible for this round.

Fresh candidates who did not register earlier can apply by paying ₹500.

Candidates who registered earlier but didn’t fill choices can participate without paying again.

Candidates allotted seats earlier but failed to upload documents or pay fees can join this round.

Those who were not allotted any seat till Round 4 can also participate without paying the fee.

Fresh choices must be filled for vacant seats; old choices stand cancelled.

ICAR will not be responsible if any university refuses admission due to derecognition issues.
