IGNOU January 2026 Fee Payment Methods, Cancellation Rules, and Refund Policy

Fees can be paid online via Credit Card, Debit Card (Master/Visa/RuPay), or Net Banking; the registration fee is non-refundable.
Full refund is allowed if you cancel before admission confirmation; after confirmation, 15% of the programme fee (up to Rs 2,000) is deducted.
If you choose soft copy study material, only the registration fee is deducted; with fee exemption, only the development fee is refundable on cancellation.
No refunds are processed after 60 days from the admission closing date.
