IIT JAM 2026 Application Form Correction Last Date ExtendedIIT JAM 2026 Application Form Correction Window Extended: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay), the conducting body for the Joint Admission Test for Master's (IIT JAM) 2026, has extended the application form correction window. Initially, the correction window was supposed to close on November 10, 2025, but has now been extended to November 13, 2025 . Many candidates who had faced last-minute problems, such as server traffic woes or errors while filling out the form, can now heave a sigh of relief after this extension.
Through the IIT JAM 2026 correction window, candidates can edit specific fields they wish to (including preferences for exam city, gender, category, and choice of test paper) by logging into the JOAPS website. However, some information cannot be edited during this phase, such as the candidate’s name, email ID, and mobile number.

Candidates can modify their details easily through the official JOAPS portal by following the instructions given below:
Go to the official website joaps.iitb.ac.in or tap on the above-mentioned link
Enter your Enrollment ID/Email ID and password to Log In
Press the “Application Correction” tab
Change the permissible fields like exam city, category, or test paper.
Double-check everything you’ve changed and hit Submit Done!
Download the corrected form and keep it for the record.
After the correction window closes, IIT Bombay will start the process of generating the admit card based on the final information. Candidates will be able to download the IIT JAM 2026 admit cards on the official JOAPS website in January 2026. The admit card will include the date of the exam, reporting time, test centre allotted, and other instructions for the exam.
The IIT JAM 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on February 15, 2026. A provisional answer key will be released, followed by the raising of objections against discrepancies by candidates. The final results of IIT JAM 2026 are likely to be announced on March 20, 2026 , and qualified candidates can take part in admission and counselling through the JAM portal.
