IIT JAM Admit Card 2026 LIVE Updates: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, has postponed the IIT JAM admit card 2026 release date. Earlier, the hall ticket was expected to be out on January 5, 2025, but according to the official portal, the IIT JAM Admit Card 2026 release date has been postponed. The new admit card date has not been announced yet, but as per the previous years' trends, the hall ticket is now expected to be out by January 9, 2025. The candidates who had completed their registration before the last date can get access to the IIT JAM admit card by logging in to their accounts. For the same, the candidates should enter their login credentials, such as the email ID/ enrollment ID and password.

The authority has no plan to send the hard copy of the IIT JAM admit card 2026 to the candidates via their postal addresses. The only mode of downloading the admit card of the IIT JAM 2026 is online. After downloading the IIT JAM 2026 admit card, the candidates should take a printout of it, which they should carry to the exam centre on the examination day. This year, the IIT JAM 2026 exam will be held on February 15, 2026.

IIT JAM Admit Card 2026: Exam Day Instructions

Candidates can refer to the exam day instructions here, which should be followed inside the exam centre.

  • Along with the IIT JAM 2026 admit card, the candidates should carry a photo ID to the exam centre. Candidates should not bring a scanned copy of their ID
  • The admit card should be printed on A4-sized paper using a coloured laser printer. Make sure that the photograph and signature of the candidate are clearly visible
  • Candidates should not arrive late at the examination centre. Instead, they are advised to arrive at least 40 minutes before starting the exam
  • Candidates will be allowed to log in 20 minutes before the examination starts time. Before starting the exam, the candidates should read the instructions
  • It is not possible to log in after 30 minutes from the start time of the IIT JAM exam
  • Candidates are advised to visit the exam centre at least one day before the exam. So that they can make the travel arrangements accordingly, and they will not face any unnecessary hassle
