UGC NET Answer Key Dec 2025: If you have appeared for UGC NET December 2025 exam and are not satisfied with one or more answers in the provisional answer key, you have the opportunity to raise a challenge within the officially notified window. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the UGC NET Answer Key Dec 2025 Challenge window until January 17, 2026 (upto 11:50 PM) . You must also complete the payment process by January 17, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM) to ensure your challenge is considered.

Along with the provisional answer keys, your recorded responses and question papers are available on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Instructions to Challenge UGC NET Answer Key Dec 2025

Below are the step-by-step instructions to help you challenge the UGC NET Answer Key smoothly:

Step 1: Visit the official NTA UGC NET website and click on “Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key”.

Step 2: Log in using your application number and password or date of birth.

Step 3: Click on “View Question Paper” to check your marked responses.

Step 4: Select “View/Challenge Answer Key” to access the provisional answer key.

Step 5: Carefully review each question using the Question ID displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Check the option shown under ‘Correct Option(s)’, which indicates the provisional answer provided by NTA. Note that dropped questions cannot be challenged.

Step 7: If you are not satisfied with the given answer, select the correct Option ID(s) by ticking the checkbox provided.

Step 8 : Click on “Save Your Claims” and proceed to the next screen.

Step 9: Review all the questions you have challenged. If you want to make any changes, click on “Modify Your Claims” and re-submit using the same process.

Step 10: Upload supporting documents by clicking “Choose File”. Ensure that all documents are uploaded as a single PDF file only.

Step 11: Pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Once submitted, your challenges will be reviewed by subject experts. If found valid, the answer key will be revised and applied to all responses. The final result will be prepared based on the revised answer key, and no individual confirmation will be sent.
