JEE Mains 2026 Application Login; List of details required for registration

The JEE Main 2026 application process is underway on the official NTA website. Candidates must fill in all required details accurately after the JEE Mains 2026 application login and upload the necessary documents carefully.

JEE Mains 2026 Application Login: The National Testing Agency has commenced the JEE Main 2026 registration process on its official website, i.e., jeemain.nta.ac.in. Engineering aspirants all over the nation can now submit their applications online for the 2026 Joint Entrance Examination (Main), which is used for offering admissions in NITs, IIITs, and other best engineering institutions, as well as to determine eligibility for JEE Advanced.

To complete the JEE Mains 2026 Application Login process, aspirants are required to first register themselves by creating a new account using a valid email ID and phone number. Candidates can now log in to JEE Mains 2026 using their Application Number and Date of Birth and complete the application process for various steps, such as filling out the form, uploading the documents, paying the fees, and downloading the confirmation page.

Required Details for JEE Main 2026 Registration

Applicants need to have the following information/documents ready before applying:

Personal Information: Full name, date of birth, gender, category, and nationality of the candidate are required.

Contact Details: A valid email ID, working mobile number, and current mailing address.

Guardian/Parent Details: Name, education, occupation, and annual income.

Academic Information: Name of the schools of class 10 and 12, name of the board, year of passing, and roll number.

Exam Preferences: Type of paper (B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, or B.Planning), exam cities, and session.

Scanned Documents to be uploaded along with size:

Recent passport-size photograph -10 kb to 200 kb
Signature-10 kb to 100 kb
Scanned copy of Class 10 or Equivalent Certificate- 50 kb to 300 kb
Scanned copy of Identity Proof-10 kb to 200 kb
Scanned copy of Disability/UDID certificate-50 kb to 300 kb (if applicable)

Identity Proof: Aadhaar number or any other government ID.

Payment Details: Credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI details for fee payment

Candidates should then download and take a printout of the confirmation page for their records. A correction window will be provided later by NTA for making any changes.

Fee Details for JEE Main 2026 Application

Candidates can pay the application fee online by using debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking, depending on their category and the choice of papers, one or both.

General/OBC (Boys) - Rs. 1000 (one paper)
General/OBC (Girls) - Rs. 800 (per one paper)
For SC/ST/ PwD - Rs. 500 (for one paper)
UG candidates outside India - Rs. 5000 (one paper)
Additional charges will be levied if the candidate is applying for Paper 1 and Paper 2.

The upcoming JEE Main 2026 will be held twice - tentatively in the months of January and April 2026 . Candidates can appear in both sessions or in any one session, and the best score will be considered for admission. The JEE Main syllabus will be based on the NCERT syllabus of Classes 11 and 12 , and it covers three subjects – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
