NEET 2026 Exam Date: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the NEET 2026 examination date shortly. Based on trends from previous years, the official exam schedule is likely to be released in January or February. Once published, candidates can view the confirmed date on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, by navigating to the "Latest News" section.

The NEET 2026 examination will cover three subjects, with a total of 180 mandatory questions to be answered within a duration of 180 minutes. The test will be conducted in a single shift during the afternoon session. The NTA is also expected to release the NEET 2026 notification soon, and from the same day, the online application process including fee payment will begin and remain open for approximately one month. After the application window closes, candidates will be provided with a correction period of about two to three working days to make necessary edits to their submitted forms. For reference, NEET UG 2025 was held on May 4, 2025.

Additionally, the authority issued an official press note yesterday advising all eligible candidates to ensure that their Aadhaar card, UDID card (for Persons with Disabilities), and category certificates are updated well in advance. This step is essential to prevent discrepancies, grievances, or possible rejection during the application process for NEET 2026.

Once the examination date is confirmed, candidates are strongly encouraged to begin their preparation as early as possible to ensure timely completion of the entire syllabus. Aspirants should study according to topic-wise weightage, giving more focus to high-weightage areas for more effective preparation. For the convenience of candidates, the tentative syllabus along with subject-wise weightage has been provided.

Stay tuned to LIVE Updates for more information on the tentative syllabus, weightage, etc.
