The exam is conducted for admissions to MBA and MCA courses at universities and colleges in Telangana.
This year’s examination will be conducted at 60 examination centres across 16 regional zones in the Telangana State, providing much-needed convenience and accessibility to the students. In a welcome move, Siddipet would be a new examination centre this year, which would be a relief to the students coming from the northern parts of the State to appear at the examination centre.
Applicants are required to complete the online registration process, pay the application fee, and submit the application before March 30 to avoid late fees. The exam mode for the candidates would be computer-based, and the pattern will remain the same, as there are no significant changes announced for the 2026 examination.
Application Fee 2026 vs 2025: Fee Payment Details
The application fee for the TG ICET 2026 is largely similar to last year, ensuring continuity and affordability to aspirants. The application fees are as follows:
- For General Category: Rs. 750,
- For SC / ST / Differently-abled Candidates: Rs. 550.
Payment for the application fees can be done through online modes (debit/credit cards, net banking, or other available digital modes), and the application fees need to be paid before the final deadline to avoid late fees and for the successful submission of the application forms.
Is There Any Change in the Syllabus for TG ICET 2026? Here's what Candidates Should Know
There is no change in the TG ICET 2026 syllabus. It would carry the same pattern and subject structure as before. The entrance examination would comprise three main sections -
- Analytical Ability,
- Mathematical Ability,
- Communication Ability
The exam consists of 200 objective-type questions , which should be answered on a computer within 150 minutes . The syllabus focuses on concepts usually studied during the intermediate level (Class 12), with emphasis on reasoning, interpretation of data, basic algebra, geometry, grammar, and comprehension. As the pattern and syllabus are similar to previous years, candidates can prepare well using the study materials from previous sessions.
