TG TET 2025 Phase 2; Education Department sends proposal to government to conduct the examTG TET 2025 Phase 2: The Telangana School Education Department has sent the proposal to the state government for the 2nd phase of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). The TET examination is held twice a year according to the schedule to ensure timely recruitment and qualification of teachers. The first phase of TET was well-conducted by the department in June 2025, and the results came out on July 22. The second phase is yet to be approved by the government, which was expected to be conducted this month.
Sources in the department said the delay is due to administrative procedures and the need to amend certain clauses in the existing TET Government Order (G.O.) before issuing the new notification. After the approval is received, the second phase notification will be issued immediately, followed by the application schedule and exam dates.
And this is an important development because teachers who do not clear the TET exam will not be allowed to continue as teachers in government and aid schools, as per a ruling of the Supreme Court. The recent ruling makes it compulsory for all teachers to pass the examination. Now, there are
about 45,000 teachers
in Telangana who are
yet to clear the TET

Many aspiring and working teachers may get relief with the second phase of Telangana TET to be announced soon. After the approval of the notification, the official notification consists of necessary information like eligibility, exam pattern, and application procedure.
