TG TET 2026 Late Applicants Allocated Far Exam CentresTG TET 2026 Examination: The Department of School Education (DSE), Telangana, has stated that TG TET 2026 candidates who applied with a late fee have been given exam centres far away from their location of choice, following the first-come-first-served (FCFS) policy for the exam centre allocation . The update comes amid concerns raised by many candidates after checking their exam centres allotted to them for the examination.
According to officials, the centres for the TG TET in 2026 were assigned on an availability basis at the time of application submission. The candidates who submitted their applications and paid the fee early were given priority in getting centres near their preferred choices. But the ones who registered in the final phase of the application window were assigned remaining centres, which are in many cases placed in neighbouring districts or far-off places.
The officials said the FCFS rule was introduced to maintain transparency and to have a systematic allotment process, as there is a huge number of candidates coming for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test this year. When the desired test centres were full, candidates were automatically assigned to other centres with available space, irrespective of distance.
The department has also said that requests for a change of the examination centre will not be entertained since the process of allotment has been finalised, and logistics related to the same have also been made. That is why candidates should plan their journey ahead of time and adhere strictly to the information supplied on their TG TET hall ticket and TG TET 2026 Examination scheduled to begin from January 3, 2026.
It is advised that candidates plan their travel accordingly and arrive at the exam centre well in advance. Candidates are also advised to bring all the necessary documents to the exam centre as specified on the hall ticket to avoid any inconvenience during the examination.
