UP Police SI Recruitment 2025: Important update released for DV and PST posts

UP Police SI Recruitment 2025 process has moved to the next stage. Candidates shortlisted in the written exam will now be called for DV and PST as per the latest notice.

UP Police SI Recruitment 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued a crucial notification for the UP Police SI Recruitment 2025, giving clarity for candidates who are waiting for the next level of the selection process. This notification is primarily for those candidates who have qualified in the written examination and are now to progress in the recruitment process. With this declaration, the selection procedure has now become 'physical and verification' based.

According to the latest notification, the Document Verification (DV) will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates. At this stage, candidates have to submit original certificates of educational qualification, proof of age, identity, and other particulars that were furnished at the time of application. The DV stage plays a crucial role because any discrepancy / non-submission of requisite documents may result in disqualification.

The candidates will be required to appear for the Physical Standard Test (PST) after the document verification. The PST is held to ensure that candidates fulfill the physical requirements set by the UP Police Department. Measurements like height, chest (for male candidates), and other category-wise norms will be adhered to strictly as per the recruitment rules.

The Board clarifies that the DV and PST dates, Venue details, and reporting time will be intimated separately on the official website. Candidates shall be notified through admit cards, which are expected to be available online before the conduct of these stages. The admit card is compulsory to be carried to the exam center along with the necessary documents.
