Will GATE 2021 be Postponed?

As the GATE 2021 exam date is approaching, Many students have been demanding IIT Bombay to postpone the exam. GATE 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on February 06, 07, 13 & 14. The admit card for GATE 2021 was released on January 08. 

GATE 2021 Not Postponed, IIT Bombay Releases Admit Card

IIT Bombay is set to conduct GATE 2021 on February 06, 07, 13 & 14, and the admit card has been released on January 08, 2021. However, most of the students have been demanding to postpone the entrance exam considering the academic session disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. On Twitter, some students indicated that the final-year semester exams of the B.Tech course may be delayed till August, and most of them are yet to complete the first semester of the final year. In such circumstances, the preparation for the GATE 2021 has been disrupted.

Some students posted on Twitter that GATE is the biggest entrance exam for M.Tech, and they need enough time for preparation. Here are some of the tweets posted by students –

IIT JAM 2021 admit card , which was earlier scheduled to be released on January 05, 2021, has released on January 11. However, no official information on the change in exam dates/ postponement. It is yet to be seen whether IIT JAM 2021 will be conducted on February 14 as per schedule or not.
