Anticipating what rank you might get with 75 percentile in JEE Mains 2026? Going by the last 5 years' percentile trends and a sudden increase in this year's paper difficulty level across all shifts, our ecpert, Supreeta Roy, predicts - "If you manage to score 75+ percentile in JEE Main Session 1 2026, your probable rank will be somewhere around 361,500-375,000. However, to achieve this, you will need to score at least 36-37 marks out of 300. At this range, top and mid-tier NITs are unlikely for General category students. You will have to restrict your choices to low-tier NITs, like NIT Mizoram or NIT Goa, with less popular branches through Home state quota or reservations."

The 2025-26 placement season at IIT Bombay began on December 1, 2025, with 42 companies and 98 job offers. According to the media reports, Da Vinci has offered the highest package of the season, which is around Rs. 1.48 Crore.
