How to Answer Reading Comprehension in AFCAT

How to Answer Reading Comprehension in AFCAT: The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is a crucial exam for those aspiring to join the prestigious Indian Air Force. Among its various sections, Reading Comprehension is often seen as one of the most challenging. However, with the right strategies, you can master this section and boost your overall performance. To appropriately answer AFCAT Reading Comprehension questions, thoroughly read the passage to comprehend the main idea and any supporting details. Evaluate the author's tone and point of view while highlighting important details. Option that is irrelevant or contradicts the passage should be removed. Select the option that most accurately conveys the author's purpose and upholds the passage's broader context.

To improve your AFCAT reading comprehension, skim for an overview before reading carefully, marking essential points and uncommon words. You must grasp the type of question (primary concept, details, inferences, tone, terminology). It is recommended that you turnaround to the passage to find the information you need for each question. Eliminate wrong alternatives that are irrelevant, inconsistent, or unsupported by the content.
