For AFCAT 1 2026, a safe score that students must target to fix a spot on the final merit list is 190+. While the qualifying cutoff has been observed to be around 155 in the last 3-4 years, previous years trend shows that selection rates are much higher for the students with a 30-40 mark ‘buffer’ after the AFSB interview.

AFCAT vs CDS: AFCAT is your gateway to the Air Force via a technical or non-technical entry, while CDS offers a broader path into the Army, Navy, and Air Force through UPSC. Choosing between them depends on your math proficiency and service preference. The CDS or Combined Defence Forces exam, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), opens doors to officer ranks in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. On the other hand, the AFCAT or Air Force Common Admission Test is the key test for those aspiring to serve in the Indian Air Force.

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has further extended the registration process for NCHM JEE 2026. The NTA will now allow students to register for NCHM JEE 2026 for a period of two months. The reason for this further extension was a request from NCHMCT. The primary reason for further registration may be due to increasing registration and for students from newly added cities. The NTA will now allow students to register for NCHM JEE 2026 by March 25, 2026. All rules and regulations will be the same as stated in the Information Bulletin.

The exam is administered twice annually, in February and August, across numerous cities in India.

Evaluate the author's tone and point of view while highlighting important details. Option that is irrelevant or contradicts the passage should be removed. Select the option that most accurately conveys the author's purpose and upholds the passage's broader context.

To improve your AFCAT reading comprehension, skim for an overview before reading carefully, marking essential points and uncommon words. You must grasp the type of question (primary concept, details, inferences, tone, terminology). It is recommended that you turnaround to the passage to find the information you need for each question. Eliminate wrong alternatives that are irrelevant, inconsistent, or unsupported by the content.
