BBD University Scholarships 2025 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

BBDU scholarships are available to students who have demonstrated academic achievement and those from underrepresented groups in society. Based on merit, students studying various courses are granted various scholarships and tuition price reimbursement programs. 

Some of these scholarships are as follows:

• Research Fellowships
• Scholarships for SC/ST students
• Scholarships for General (EWS) students 
• Scholarships for OBC and minority students

Full-time PhD scholars at BBDU are also eligible for a University Research Fellowship of Rs 12,000 per month in the first and second years, and Rs 15,000 per month in the third year.

BBDU Scholarship 1

For all undergraduate courses:

• Candidates with 90 percent or higher in 10th grade will receive a full-tuition scholarship at admission.
• Candidates with 85 percent or higher in 10th grade will get a 50% tuition fee scholarship at admission.
• Candidates with 80 percent or higher in 10th grade will get a 25% tuition fee scholarship at admission.
   

For all postgraduate programs: (excluding MDS)

• Candidates with 90 percent or higher in 10th grade and 85 percent or higher in UG level will receive a full scholarship on tuition only at the time of acceptance.
• Candidates with 85 percent or higher in 10th grade and 80 percent or higher in UG level will receive a 50% tuition fee scholarship.
• Candidates with 80 percent or higher in 10th grade and 75 percent or higher in UG level will receive a 35 percent tuition fee scholarship.
• Candidates with 75 percent or higher in 10th grade and 70 percent or higher in UG level will be eligible for a 25% tuition fee scholarship at the time of enrolment.

BBDU Scholarship 2

For all Engineering courses (based on entrance exam rank):

• Candidates with an IIT-JEE General Rank of up to 2500 would be eligible for a full scholarship on tuition only at admission.
• Candidates with an IIT-JEE General Rank of up to 5000 will be eligible for a 50% tuition fee scholarship at the time of admission.
• Candidates with an IIT-JEE General Rank of up to 10,000 will be eligible for a 25% tuition fee scholarship at the time of admission.
• Candidates with AIEEE scores of up to 10000 (All India General Rank) would be eligible for a full scholarship on tuition only at the time of admission.
• Candidates with AIEEE scores of up to 15000 (All India General Rank) would be eligible for a 50% tuition fee scholarship at the time of admission.
• Candidates with AIEEE scores of up to 20000 (All India General Rank) would be eligible for a 25% tuition fee scholarship at the time of admission.
• Candidates who achieve an AKTU General Rank of up to 5000 will be awarded a full-tuition scholarship at enrollment.
• Candidates with an AKTU General Rank of up to 10,000 will get a 50% tuition fee scholarship at enrollment.
• Candidates with an AKTU General Rank of up to 15000 will get a 25% tuition fee scholarship at enrollment.

BBDU Scholarship 3

For all Management courses (based on entrance exam rank):

• Candidates who achieve a CAT 90 percentile will receive a 50% tuition fee scholarship at admission.
• Candidates with a CAT 85 percentile will receive a 25% tuition fee scholarship at acceptance.
• Candidates with a MAT score of 700 or higher will receive a 25% tuition fee scholarship at acceptance.
• Candidates who achieve an AKTU General Rank of up to 1000 for MBA/MCA will receive a 25% tuition price scholarship at the time of admission.

Scholarship for SC/ST Students:

Students whose parents' or guardians' annual income is less than Rs.2 lacs are eligible for a scholarship and tuition-fee refund through the Uttar Pradesh Government's Social Welfare Department.

BBDU Scholarship 4

Scholarship for General Category (Economically Weaker Section): Students whose parents/ annual guardian's income is less than Rs. 2 lac are eligible for scholarship and tuition –fee refund as per the rules set in the Uttar Pradesh Government's announcement from time to time.

Scholarship for OBC and Minority Students: Students whose parents/annual guardian's income is less than Rs. 2 lac are eligible for scholarship and tuition-fee refund as provided in the U.P. Govt Notifications from time to time.

Scholarships for Minority Groups (Govt. of India): Students whose parent's/annual guardian's income is less than Rs. 2 lac for the Post. Matric Scholarship Scheme and Rs. 2.5 lac for the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme are eligible for scholarship and tuition-fee refund as per the norms prescribed in the Government of India's notification from time to time.
