What After WB JELET Round 1 Seat Allotment 2025?

What after WB JELET round 1 seat allotment includes majorly checking the allocation status and paying the seat acceptance fee of Rs 5000. Once you have paid the fee, you must download your provisional allotment letter from the WB JELET counselling portal. The next important step is physically reporting to the allotted institute/ colleges within the specified dates for document verification and admission confirmation. Students must carry all original certificates and a self-attested copy of each while visiting the institute.

Additionally, after WB JELET seat allotment for phase 1, you must choose between YES or NO for the upgradation option based on whether you want a better seat in Round 2 or are content with the allocation. Failing to complete any of these steps within the deadline may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat and removal from the counselling process.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Entry Test is a state-level examination conducted to offer students admission to the second year (third semester) of Bachelor's Degree courses in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy in the various government and private colleges of West Bengal.

85+ Percentile in JEE Main 2026 Predictions and Expectations

The JEE Main cutoff changes every year and differs across categories. While the qualifying percentile does not guarantee admission to NITs or IIITs, it is mandatory for students to appear in JEE Advanced exam 2026. As our experienced JEE ranks vs percentile analysis expert Supreeta Roy predicts - "Having scored 85+ percetnile in JEE Mains Session 1 exam 2026, you can expect a rank between 211,500 and 225,000. This means you will likely have to achieve 82-84.2+ marks in the paper. However, given a tough paper, this marks range may fall between 58.5-59.9+. With this percentile score, students can get admission to  IIIT Bhagalpur, IIIT Gwalior, NIT Goa etc. But top NITs are usually out of reach, especially for the General category candidates." The article deals with the expected marks vs rank for 85+ percentile in JEE Mains 2026, estimated using this year's difficulty level and recent cutoff trends.

Predicted Percentile for 165 Marks in JEE Main 2026 Session 1

Predicted Percentile for 165 Marks in JEE Main 2026 Session 1: If you score 165 marks in JEE Main 2026 Session 1, you are in a good and highly competitive position. At this score, the candidate remains well ahead of the vast majority who take the test, and can be confident of solid chances during counselling. Based on subject experts’ analysis and previous years, it is expected that a candidate scoring 165 or more marks in a moderately difficult paper may fetch a percentile of approximately 98.56+ with a rank of approximately 21,600 or better. Though these figures are indicative and may slightly vary due to normalisation across shifts and overall performance at the all-India level, this score provides a good benchmark and is confidently taken into account in the planning of admission.

Dear Student,

After completing a Diploma in Computer Science and Technology from Budge Budge Institute of Technology (BBIT), students have decent placement opportunities. About 70 to 80 per cent of diploma students get placed, with the highest salary package reaching up to INR 8 lakh per annum and the average package around INR 5 to 5.5 lakh per annum. Top recruiters visiting the campus include major companies like TCS, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra. The institute provides pre-placement training, internships, and practical exposure through campus recruitment drives. Though the diploma placements are good, especially in IT and related sectors, many students also explore off-campus opportunities or further studies for enhanced career prospects. Generally, BBIT is recognised for its efforts to prepare diploma students well for the job market with industry-relevant skills and training. We hope that we were able to answer your query successfully. Stay tuned to College Dekho for the latest updates related to education news, latest exam updates, college, admission, counselling and more. All the best for a great future ahead!

Dear student,

Heritage Institute of Technology WBJEE cutoffs accept karta hai B Tech CSE stream mein admission ke liye. Lekin, pichle saal ke trends dekhte hue, CSE ke closing cutoff ranks Round 1, 2, aur 3 mein 3585, 4283, aur 4005 the. Matlab, agar aapka rank 18000 hai, toh Heritage Institute of Technology mein CSE course lena kaafi tough hoga. Haan, lekin aap dusre streams try kar sakte ho jaise B.Tech Electrical Engineering, B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, ya B.Tech Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, jahan yeh rank admission ke liye kaafi ho sakta hai. Iske alawa, aap dusre colleges bhi consider kar sakte ho jaise Narula Institute of Technology, Kazi Nazrul University, aur University of Calcutta, jo is rank par admission dete hain.

We hope this information was helpful to you. If you have further queries regarding admission to top private engineering colleges in India, you can write to hello@collegedekho.com or call our toll free number 18005729877, or simply fill out our Common Application Form on the website.

Dear Student,

Unfortunately, diploma students from Bihar or any other state with 10th marks are not eligible for WBJEE exam. This is because the minimum WBJEE 2025 eligibility criteria requires that all students (from West Bengal or other states) must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects to get admission to B.Tech degree.

We hope this information was helpful to you. Good luck!

Dear students,

The Budge Budge Institute of Technology does not offer B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering. Therefore, you can not get lateral entry admission to B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering at this college. The fees for the B.Tech (lateral entry) course is Rs 3,00,900 for the complete course. If you are interested in BBIT Kolkata then you can try out other specialisations of B.Tech for admission such as civil engineering, computer science & engineering, information technology, and others.
