He/she should have passed the second year pre-university course with Arts or Science Combinations or with any other course equivalent to the pre-university examination Students with commerce combinations are eligible provided they have studied anytwo school subjects. Candidates who have passed the secondary /pre universityvocational education course/diploma or any otherjob oriented course shall not be eligible foradmission to the D.Ed Course. The minimum pass for the purpose of eligibility shall be 50% of marks in the Pre-University or equivalent examination. In the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes the minimum pass will be 45%. In the case of Category-l and other backward classes, eligibility will be as specified in the relevant orders issued by the state government from time to time.
