Fully computerized and automated with RF based security system. The resources are classified based on the Dewey Decimal classification system. A separate section is maintained for reference books and standards. The library also maintains a separate reference collection consisting of encyclopedia, directories, data books and CD-ROMS. A book bank collection exclusively for SC/ST students (5 books per student per semester) is functioning in the library. A TEQIP book bank is working in the library for issuing text books to students for one semester, collecting a nominal amount. Text books are also issued from the Donated section of the library, a facility recently initiated by the alumni. The total collection of library is 21373.. There are 54 National Journals, 176 International Journals (on-line) and 5 international journals (print form) and 7 Technical Magazines and 35 General Periodicals subscribed .
