Dnyansagar Institute of Management and Research was founded in 2008 in Pune, Maharashtra. DIMR Pune is affiliated with SPPU. Admission is available for MBA, BBA, MCA and B.Com at DIMR Pune. Candidates are offered admission to the MBA Prime programme based on their graduation marks, entrance exam marks, PI and online written test marks. The counselling is conducted through CAP rounds by DTE Maharashtra. DIMR Pune accepts MAH MBA CET, CMAT, GMAT, CAT JMET, MAT and ATMA scores for MBA admissions.

DIMR Pune UG admissions are offered in B.Com and BBA courses. Since the institute does not accept any entrance exams at the UG level, admissions are offered based on candidates Class 12 marks. DIMR Pune PG admission is offered in MCA and MBA specialisations. The MBA Prime is offered in major specialisations like Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resources Management, Operation and Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics as well as minor specialisations like Rural and Agri-Business Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, International Business Management and Pharma and Healthcare Management. 

The DIMR Pune MBA admissions are offered based on the candidate's graduation marks and entrance exam scores (national level as well as an online written test). The DIMR Pune MBA selection is done through CAP rounds by DTE Maharashtra.
