• Other Communities

• (Communities other than BC/MBC/SC/ST) Pass in 12^th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

• Backward Class Community

• Pass in 12^th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of atleast 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The candidate should produce the Community Certificate duly signed by the Tahsildar.

• Most Backward Class Community

• Pass in 12^th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of atleast 40% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The candidate should produce the Community Certificate duly signed by the Tahsildar.

• SC/SCA/ST Candidates

• Pass in 12^th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of atleast 40% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The candidate should produce the Community Certificate duly signed by the Tahsildar.

Candidates from other states irrespective of their community are considered as OC (Other Community)

Candidates for admission to the first semester of the Post-Graduate Degree Programme shall be required to have passed an appropriate Under-Graduate Degree Examination of Anna University as specified under qualification for admission as per the Tamil Nadu Common Admission (TANCA) criteria.

• A pass in any Degree with 10+2+3/4 years pattern (or)
• A pass in any Degree with 10+3 (Diploma) +3 year pattern

Candidates who have already passed the above qualifying degree course and those who have appeared for the final semester/year examination of the said qualifying degree course during April / May 2018 may apply for MBA Common Entrance Test, for admission to M.B.A. degree.

The applicant must have a master's degree in engineering the relevant course
