Overall, my time spent at Government Engineering College, Bhavnagar was very mixed bag; however, most times I loved being there. This college does not offer anything so easily; therefore, you must work hard to earn it. The academic environment is fair but would have been better if Its infrastructure was more improved but it’s still manageable if at all you are smart enough. What I liked best was the community spirit here. Because this college is not that huge, one gets to know many people and students feel really united amongst themselves. The teaching staff is friendly but in order for you to really benefit from them you need to be proactive. What you make out of all campus life is what it will be like with extra activities too available if you want really want them The placement scene needs improvement however if you really want to secure a good future for yourself then always take up internships do various competitions or even further your studies. All in all GEC Bhavnagar has been my home as far as academics and personal growth are concerned during these years. It taught me how important it is to live independently and use everything that you have at your disposal wisely. Although not idealistic per se, this place is genuine enough for me to appreciate its worth as an important part of my life.

I take admission in 2020 during COVID I thought that it will be very boring and not so much useful in COVID, but I was wrong. College management and facilities are very kind, helpfull and knowledgeable. They give their 100% efforts so everyone can learn easily.
