Government Engineering College Gandhinagar Admission 2026

Government Engineering College Gandhinagar admission for BTech programme will start in June 2024 with the start of GUJCET counselling process. GUJCET result is expected to be released on May 4, 2024.

Government Engineering College Gandhinagar admission to BTech and MTech courses is done on the basis of entrance exams. For BTech admission, JEE Main and GUJCET score is accepted. For MTech admission, GATE score is accepted. The seats are allocated through GUJCET/ JEE Main/ GATE counselling process.

Government Engineering College (GEC), Gandhinagar Admission Latest Update

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 provisional answer key has been released on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can check the answer keys and their response sheets online. The objection window will remain open until February 6, 2026, while the final answer key and results are expected to be announced by February 12, 2026.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 registrations are now open at jeemain.nta.nic.in for admission to B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning programmes. The last date to apply is February 25, 2026, and the exam will be conducted between April 2 and April 9, 2026.

JEE Main 2026 admit card is now available for the examinations scheduled on January 28 and 29. Candidates appearing for the B.Arch and B.Planning papers can download their admit cards from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

If you have a Diploma in Engineering then you can apply for B.Tech through lateral entry in Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar. However, you must have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in Diploma from a recognized board or university. Additionally, you may have to clear a national-level entrance exam like JEE Main or a state-level entrance exam like GUJCET to be eligible.

Dear aspirant....... LPU admission 2023 is going on. LPU has released the registration and examination dates for the LPUNEST Exam 2023. Registration started on February 1, 2023, LPU has a fully online application to admission process. You can apply online on the official website - http://admissions.lpu.in. The candidate is required to complete some basic formalities (register online, upload documents, pay a minimum amount of fee, clear entrance test/interview if applicable) to confirm the seat in any programme subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. An eight-digit provisional registration number will be generated and will be shared on registered mobile number and email-id of the candidate, indicating the confirmation of seat. One can also visit the University campus on any working day from 9 am to 5 pm to complete the admission process. There are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission to any of the course at LPU. As per the eligibility criteria for different courses the marks required in qualifying exam varies from 50% to 60% depending on the course. The candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., BSc. Hons, B.Pharm, etc.. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a national-level entrance test conducted by LPU and is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. So, it totally depends on the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to take admission to. You can take provisional admission and confirm your seat by paying a nominal fee of Rs. 10,000 in all programmes which would be adjusted against your programme fee of the semester. The last date for admission is 25 July 2023.
