Government Medical College Amritsar is among the top college for medical courses in Amritsar. Every year, the authority releases the cut-off in the form of a merit list including the names and details of students for admission. Note that, the college does release the merit list separately for several quotas including the sports quota. Whether 153 marks are sufficient or not for admission to Government Medical College, Amritsar will be determined once the official merit list is announced.

In order to pursue any course in OTT, candidates will need to go through the OTT admission process of the college/institution/university that offers the programme. Mostly, candidates will be able to take admission to an OTT programme based on the marks obtained by them in the qualifying examinations.
