NMC released Applications for New Medical Colleges: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has invited applications for the establishment of new medical colleges/extension of MBBS seats/implementation of revised fee structure for the academic year 2026-27. It comes as part of the government’s larger initiative to bolster medical education infrastructure in the country amid rising demand for trained doctors in India. Applications will be available from December 29, 2025, to January 28, 2026, through the official NMC portal.

Punjab NEET PG 2025 round 2 choice filling deadline has been extended. As per the recent notification, the revised due date to exercise choice filling is December 24, 2025. Earlier, the last to fill choices were set to be December 15, 2025. The candidates who have yet to fill out their choices can do so at the earliest. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences has further revised the seat allotment date from December 19, 2025, to December 26, 2025. The candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats are required to join the allocated colleges from December 28 to December 30, 2025.

DME Haryana NEET PG Seat Allotment Result 2025: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Haryana, has declared the NEET PG 2025 Round 2 seat allotment result for admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB courses in various medical colleges in the state. The result has been published on the official counselling portal, where candidates can download the allotment pdf and check for their name or roll number to know which college and course have been assigned. This Round is very important for the students who could not get a seat in Round 1 or are willing for upgradation.
