The CAT 2025 official mock test schedule has been announced. Candidates can attempt the mock test on the iimcat.ac.in from November 12 to November 30, 2025. The test duration will be 120 minutes, featuring a sectional timing of 40 minutes per section. The sequence of sections will be VARC, then DILR, and finally Quantitative Aptitude.
The JEE Main 2026 application form is now released on jeemain.nta.nic.in for admissions to B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning programmes. Candidates can register for Session 1 until November 27, 2025. The exam will be conducted from January 21 to 30, 2026.
The CAT 2025 admit card will now be released on November 12 at iimcat.ac.in, instead of the previously scheduled date of November 5. The CAT 2025 exam is set to be conducted on November 30, 2025.

Interested students can apply for admission into B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral Entry) and MBA programmes offered at HMR Institute of Technology and Management but they have to fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions first to be deemed eligible to apply for the aforementioned programmes. For admission into the B.Tech programme of HMRITM, the applicants must have a valid JEE Main score. Similarly, for MBA admissions at HMRITM, the applicants must have a valid CAT score.
The detailed admission process along with all the other important factors required to successfully apply for HMRITM admission is given below.
Applicants must be a graduate (obtained Bachelor’s degree) in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate OR
Applicants must have a B.E or B.Tech degree (or Bachelor’s degree in any other subject) with at least 50% aggregate (students with an equivalent qualification which is recognised with at least 50% aggregate) are also eligible for HMRITM MBA programme
Applicants who have -
Passed Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England’s final examination
Passed Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England’s final examination
Passed Institute of Company Secretaries of India’s final examination
Are eligible to apply for MBA programme of HMRITM
HMRITM MBA selection process depends on the applicants’ CAT score.
Applicants must be 10+2 qualified from a recognised Board like CBSE (or equivalent)
Applicants must have an aggregate score of 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined (must pass each subject individually)
Applicants must have studied English at the qualifying level and passed (Core/Elective/Functional)
Selection into the HMRITM B.Tech programme is done on the basis of JEE Main scores or rank.
Applicants must possess a three-year diploma in any of the following Engineering/Technology branches - Tool & Dye-Making, Public Health & Environmental Engineering, Production Engineering, Printing Technology, Plastic Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Construction, Civil, Chemical, Automobile and Computer Engineering
Applicants must have an aggregate score of 60% in Diploma from an AICTE recognised Board/University/Institute
Diploma holders in Architecture are not eligible for the B.Tech (Lateral Entry) admission at HMRITM
Selection into the B.Tech (Lateral Entry) programme offered at HMRITM is done on the basis of JEE Main (Paper I) merit or rank.
