The National Institutional Ranking Framework released the NIRF rankings for the year 2025 on September 4, on the official website, nirfindia.org. In the overall category, 17 Indian Institue of Technology (s) have made it to the list of top IIT colleges; IIT Roorkee moved up to 7th position, and IIT Indore moved up 6 places from 33rd to 27th position this year. IIT Placements 2024-25: IIT Placements for the year 2024-2025 have been conducted in two phases for all the IITs. Usually, the first phase began around December and the second phase from February to May. IIT Bombay reported an average package of approximately INR 36.9 LPA, with sectors like technology, finance, and consulting dominating recruitment. IIT Indore recorded an average salary of around INR 23.50 LPA, with top-performing BTech branches like Computer Science Engineering and Electrical Engineering having the highest averages. IIT Kharagpur recorded a Domestic Highest Package of INR 1 Crore with top recruiters like  Apple, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Uber, and Schlumberger. IIT Delhi is recorded to have offered the highest package of INR 1 Crore Per Annum at the domestic level, with more than 50 offers above INR 1 crore. Some of the top recruiters of the Top IITs in India are Microsoft, Google, Apple, Schlumberger, Qualcomm, Amazon, Flipkart, ISRO, American Express, Boston Consulting Group, Intel, etc. 

IIT Madras to offer Scholarships to JEE Advanced Qualifiers: As JEE Advanced 2025 results are now declared, the race for admission into the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) has officially begun. For many students from low-income families, the cost of pursuing a BTech degree at a top-tier institute remains a significant challenge. In response, IIT Madras has launched a series of scholarship schemes to support meritorious students from economically weaker sections.

IIT Madras B.Tech CSE JEE Advanced Cutoff 2025: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the IIT Madras JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff for round 1 in online mode after round 1 of JEE Advanced Seat Allotment. After every round of seat distribution, the IIT Madras B.Tech CSE JEE Advanced Cutoff 2025 will  be released. The IIT Madras B.Tech CSE JEE Advanced cutoff includes candidates' opening and closing ranks to get admission to the institute's B.Tech programmes. IIT Madras GATE Cutoff 2025 - The IIT Madras GATE 2025 cutoff will be released after the completion of COAP 2025. Vignan University VSAT 2026 Notification Released: The Vignan Foundation for Science, Technology & Research invites applications through VSAT 2026 for admissions in different undergraduate programmes like B.Tech, B.Pharma, B.Sc Agriculture, BBA, and so on. Vignan’s Scholastic Aptitude Test (VSAT) is a university-level entrance examination conducted by Vignan University for aspirants who wish to be admitted to various campuses named VSAT (Vignan’s Scholastic Aptitude Test) every year. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online from the official website. The deadline to apply for VSAT is February 25, 2026. The examination is likely to be held from March to April 2026, in various centres.
The merit list for the exam will be announced by NTA, and those who make it to the merit list may become eligible for a scholarship that will cover a part of their tuition fees based on their ranks. The university also informed that selection will be on the basis of VSAT score, counselling and seat allotment.
